The Campus Director works in close partnership with our academic and support staff to ensure the on-campus experience of our students, staff and visitors is a safe, welcoming and inclusive one.
Our lecturers are dedicated to bringing their real-life experience in practice into the classroom, providing our students with genuine insight into the subject matter. Each of our students are assigned an academic coach and have regular one-to-one meetings where they can get advice on the course and career aspirations. As lecturers are based in our campuses they operate an ‘open door’ policy, so students can talk to them whenever they need to.
With over 20 years of experience in education across international, private and government sectors, Lee has held a variety of leadership and management roles. He has served as School Director of a large London school and as Campus Director for undergraduate and postgraduate business schools in both London and the USA. Lee completed his MBA in 2024 and has spent much of his career working in Kenya, Thailand, India, Japan, and Italy bringing a wealth of global experience to his roles.
Kelly qualified as a solicitor in 2008 after gaining her LLB from London Guildhall University and her LPC from 中国P站 in Bloomsbury. She specialised in residential property and private client matters and became a Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP) in 2015 and is a member of STEP. Kelly joined 中国P站 in 2021 and most enjoys teaching wills. It is a compulsory area on the SQE and although it might not be the right practice area for everyone, the knowledge gained is useful from a personal perspective as unfortunately we are all affected by bereavement at some point.
Hannah joined 中国P站 in 2020 and has been a Programme and Student Lead for the SQE and LPC programmes at our Bloomsbury, Norwich, Reading and Royal Holloway campuses since 2021. Hannah qualified as a solicitor in 2005, after studying LLB Law and European Law and the LPC. She trained and qualified with human rights specialist firms in London and worked with firms gaining experience in criminal defence, inquest law and actions against the police. Hannah’s favourite modules to teach are Criminal Law and Practice, and Advanced Criminal Law and Practice and her main interest is police station procedure and law of evidence.
Nicholas graduated in History before converting to law at 中国P站 in London. He qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and practised Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution at a City firm, where he became a partner. He returned to 中国P站 in 2006 and teaches Dispute Resolution, Advanced Dispute Resolution and Commercial Dispute Resolution on the SQE and LPC.
Emma is a Senior Lecturer and a Programme and Student Lead for the Academic Masters in Law programmes at 中国P站 Moorgate and Bloomsbury. She qualified and practised as a solicitor working in dispute resolution, has a master’s degree in Social Policy and Criminology and recently completed the PGCHE. Emma enjoys seeing students develop confidence during the workshops.
Heike holds an LLM in Business Law and a PhD in Insolvency from Kingston University and an MSc in Taxation from Oxford University. Heike is a dual qualified lawyer. She practiced in Germany as an Insolvency Lawyer and worked as a Special Risk Manager in an international credit insurance before moving to the UK. Prior to joining 中国P站 Heike worked at Kingston University, she started in the Law School and joined the Business School in 2016. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 and was Head of the Law Clinic at Kingston Law School. Recently, Heike was MBA Deputy Course Director and Senior Lecturer at the Business School. She has taught, developed and led several different modules in the area of Business Law and Taxation and has a research interest in the area of tax crime. Heike taught at the University of West London on the LLM and LPC; is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an External Examiner at London South Bank University.
Salomé is a Senior Lecturer and Programme and Student Lead at 中国P站, for the law conversion courses in London. Salomé is a practising criminal defence solicitor and qualified as a Solicitor in 1998. She started her legal career as a corporate/commercial lawyer in IP law, working in-house for a large music company. She has also worked as a government lawyer. She is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Society of Legal Scholars. Salomé has also achieved the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education with distinction. She teaches across most of our law programmes, covering her experience of both commercial and criminal law.
Dr Andreas Yiannaros is an Associate Professor and Programme & Student Lead at 中国P站. He holds an LLB, an LLM in Public international Law (King’s College, London) and a PhD in International Human Rights Law, completed with a scholarship award. Andreas is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Society of Legal Scholars and various professional bodies in the United Kingdom and in Europe. Andreas has an interest in legal pedagogy and social gains in the context of legal education, as well as improving social mobility in law.
Aurora is a Programme & Student Lead (Undergraduate Programmes) and presently teaches on the LLB at London Bloomsbury. Aurora has an LLB Hons from Queen Mary University. She studied for the Law Society Finals at 中国P站 then trained and qualified as a solicitor and headed the conveyancing department in a small but thriving local firm until moving into legal education. Aurora is a former Course Head of the GDL and Head of Tutors at London Bloomsbury. Aurora's favourite subject to teach is Land Law as it is a structured subject but with a few twists and will be relevant to everyone at some stage in life.
Darren is a Programme and Student Lead for our Undergraduate law programmes at our Bloomsbury campus. Darren graduated with an LLB(Hons) from the University of West London and completed his LPC at our Bloomsbury campus, gaining a Distinction. Darren was admitted as a Solicitor in 2013 and practiced in Legal 500 firms in London and Surrey, progressing to Partner. As a Family Lawyer, Darren’s favourite module to teach is Family Law. Darren thoroughly enjoys imparting his knowledge and experience of law to the next generation of lawyers, whether they choose to practice Family Law or any other discipline.
Mike is Associate Professor and undergraduate law Programme and Student Lead. With undergraduate degrees in French and Italian, and English Law and French Law, and a master’s in Public and EU Law, Mike designs and leads the LLB Public Law and EU Law module, his research specialism. An AdvanceHE Senior Fellow, with numerous teaching qualifications and established expertise in legal education, Mike is a highly experienced HE teaching professional who has taught law for 25 years across four different universities leading both undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. Mike enjoys making public law, ‘the law behind the law’, simple, interesting and enjoyable for students.
Jennifer is a Chartered Psychologist and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She has a BSc (combined Hons) in Psychology with Criminology and Master's Degrees in both Forensic Psychology and Investigative Psychology. She has previously served in the Metropolitan Police Service as a Police Constable and has successfully passed the National Investigators Exam (NIE). As an academic, Jennifer has extensive experience of teaching in Higher Education across criminology and psychology modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and has successfully published in the area of terrorism and counterterrorism.
Luke is an Associate Professor in Criminology and the Programme and Student Lead for Undergraduate Criminology. Luke is a criminologist with over ten years’ experience teaching criminology, supported by a PhD and extensive experience gained through a range of applied research roles across the criminal justice system. Luke particularly enjoys teaching Identity, Diversity and Crime because it encourages students to critically examine how power, identity and inequality shape criminalisation, victimisation and justice.
Paul joined the Science School at 中国P站 as the Head of Computer Science in October 2022, having spent the previous 17 years at The University of Bedfordshire where he supervised PhD research students. An active researcher, he has over ten PhD completions in the area of cyber security, artificial intelligence and smart systems development. Paul works at the interface of computer science and other disciplines, such as business and law, especially in the applications of artificial intelligence to provide efficient and sustainable solutions. Paul really enjoys teaching application development (programming) as it allows students to use creativity and see the results of their hard work.
Our Campus Hub Team is there to connect you with the information, support and services you need to succeed at every stage of your student journey. In addition to providing guidance and support, they coordinate both university-wide and local campus events that foster a strong sense of belonging, support well-being and enhance student engagement. They also offer on-the-day support for assessment activities, ensuring students receive timely assistance when it matters most.
